Everett Firefighters bring Thanksgiving dinner
to Everett's Senior Activity Center
Once again the Everett Firefighter's Association sponsored Thanksgiving dinner at the Everett Senior Activity Center. This year's turnout was the biggest ever, with over 600 seniors served a delicious meal of roast turkey, mashed potatoes and gravy, stuffing, green beans, dinner rolls and, of course, pumpkin pie.
About 40 firefighters and family turned out to help by preparing and serving the meals, and by cleaning up. Standing out among the helpers was a great looking group of firefighters' kids, this year sporting bright red Everett Fire T-shirts. As usual, the kids pitched in by delivering dinner trays to guests in their seats.
